Our days are numbered.

… live for the rest of the time in the flesh no longer for human passions but for the will of God.

–1 Peter 4:2

If you listen carefully, you can hear the hoof beats of horses in the distance. And those apocalyptic hoof beats are signaling the end of the age that’s growing closer and closer. We see this truth clearly in the depravity of our times.

In the collapse of morality, you and I are witnessing the prophetic fulfillment of Scripture! And we would do well to recognize that our own days are numbered by God himself.

Jesus himself warned about these days. He said that as the end of the age approaches the days would be like those of Noah’s time in which God judged the earth.

So I wonder: how does this knowledge touch your life?

There is a tremendous passage in 1 Peter 2 that asks, “How shall we then live?” meaning how shall we live in the last days?  The answer is presented in 1 Peter 2:16, “Live as people who are free, not using your freedom as a cover-up for evil, but living as servants of God.”

Are you truly free and living as his servant? There’s no time left to live embracing the things of this world.

Pledge your all to him and glorify Christ in the time that remains.
